Marco Petrone was born is Gela in 1984. He started studying music at the age of ten focusing his attention on jazz guitar and studying this genre for several years. Deeply influenced by classic music and in particular by the harmonies of baroque composers such as Bach, Haendel or Paganini. He decided to attend the conservatory of music just to catch its essence.
In 2000, thanks to a brilliant preliminary exams he entered straight to the 4 th years of the conservatory. In 2001 he wan severals music competitions for classic guitar such as the first Gaetano Emanuele prize in Gravina di Catania and the second Benedetto Albanese prize of Caccamo, during the same year he received prices and acknowledgments from very important italian critics.

On 2001 he formed Eternity, an epic-power-metal-neoclassic band in which he still plays and for whom he still composes their music and lyrics, playing as solo guitarist.
In 2002 he began a concert-season touring all Sicily. Some of these dates were really important such as the concert at the Jachting Club of Catania where he played as classic solo-guitar. He played also at the international congress of genetics, bioethics, medicine, anthropology and philosophy in Acireale where he played Bizet's Carmen with a classic trio. Recording a live-cd of the tour.
During the same year he studied composition and counterpoint and analyzed Bach's Canons and toccata's and fugues.
In 2003 he started working on a solo-project named Rhy of light which ended on September of the same year. During the same year he began giving classes of modern and H&H guitar in some mucis academies. He specialized in neoclassical guitar teaching, writing several exercises to help students improving and perfecting their technique.
In 2006 he moved to Padua and attended the course for “sound engineering” at Pollini music conservatory. He joined the band Kautery, brutal-metal band from Padua, but splited up very shortly. During the same year he started composing “live n bury” death-prog-brutal record with Ian, former member of Shattered, performing on vocals.
In Oct 2007 he finished the recordings of the demo-tape of LnB.
In Novembre 2007, working as sound engineer, he ran some recordings at La Fenice theatre, Verdi theatre in Padua and Padova duomo-cathedral. The recording sets run at La Fenice theater will be broadcast by RAI and his name will be indicated as sound engineer into the official brochure of Ars Nova concert season.
At the moment he is working as solo guitarist with Eternity, Great Master and as solo artist, still exhibiting and teaching.
