GREAT MASTER Enters the Studio for New Album
The italian heavy metal band entered the studio to record the follow-up album to 2009's 'Underworld'.
This album called "Serenissima" will be a concept album about the history of the Venetian Republic.

Line up
The line up of GM is completed. The missing bass is now occupied by Marco "The Animalbass"" Antonello.
Began his musical career in 1982 with the Nightlife (Hard Rock) . Between 2005 and 2008 he played with Avip n ' Co.

Max come back
The voice on "Serenissima" will be Max Bastasi. Max come back to GM to work on this epic album.
Max returns the voice of the Master after Enrico had to leave the band for personal problems.

It has been a while since I last sampled something out of the ranks associated with Underground Symphony, but they've usually tended to be hit or miss, but their hits and misses tend to be geared somewhere towards the middle of the road. There is nothing that can defined as either mind blowing or ear paining coming out of their neck of the woods, and this pretty well defines one of their latest acts to churn out a debut LP. New Album
After two years from their debut, GM have started working to new album. The album's title will be "Serenissima" and will be a concept album.
The history and the epic sound will be the base of this record. Recording studio is expected after the summer of this year.

The New Line-up [More]
From February 2010 the band's line-up changes, Max after many year at the court of the Master.
Luca Carraro take the bass and Francesco Duse on the drum. Daniele Vanin now is the new guitarist.
The Master is ready to a new epic adventure!!

I’ve heard many Italian, so called Euro Power Metal acts and to be honest I have to say that many of them couldn’t hold up my complete attention any longer. Sometimes, they even started to annoy myself (originality far gone you know) but Great Master just gave me hope again with the release of “Underworld”.
